Meet Our Founder: Antoinette Mutombo
My name is Antoinette Mutombo, and I founded Gap Bridge Interpreters to help people be heard-clearly, respectfully, and without barriers.
Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, I understand the struggles of navigating new environments and systems while facing a language barrier. I'm fluent in English, Swahili, Lingala, French, and Tshiluba, and bring over a decade of experience in interpretation for medical, legal, and social service sectors.
For me, this work is deeply personal. Communication is more than language-it's a human right. I interpret with empathy, accuracy, and cultural awareness because every voice deserves to be understood .
